Hello! I am the author and illustrator behind the “Libby Lou’s Adventures” series. I’m a mother of three and a grandmother, wife, sister, daughter and friend to many. I have lived in the midwest all my life, mostly in the flatlands of Kansas. My job has been in a public school setting for many years delivering speech-language therapy to children ages 3 to 18. I spent a good portion of my childhood on an exotic bird farm. Growing up on a farm gave me a love for all animals. I especially enjoyed my peacocks and dogs! I have always dabbled in art. I loved taking art classes in high school. You typically can find me outdoors most weekends. I love to go mountain biking with my husband, son, and my brother. I do hike with my dogs and enjoy camping. I love to go kayaking with my husband. I have over 26 years experience working and interacting with young children and animals.
